Registration/Info Desk

The Registration/Info Desk is located in the Foyer of the library building (Universitätspl. 3a) and is available during these times:

  • Monday: 10:00 – 17:30
  • Tuesday: 08:45 – 17:30
  • Wednesday: 08:45 – 17:30
  • Thursday: 08:45 – 14:00
  • Friday: 08:45 – 13:00

Arrival on the first day: From the main train station (Graz Hauptbahnhof) take either Bus 58 until station Graz Uni/Mozartgasse or Bus 63 until station Graz Universität and then follow the STC2026 signs on campus, which will lead you to the library building.

WiFi/Internet

Eduroam is available on the whole campus. If you do not have Eduroam access, please stop by the Registration/Info Desk to receive access information to another conference-specific WiFi network.

Talks/Speakers

Invited talks are 40 minutes in total (30 minutes talk + 10 minutes of discussion).

Contributed talks are 20 minutes in total (15 minutes talk + 5 minutes of discussion).

For information regarding talks related to an award please contact the organizers.

For your talk you can use your own laptop (via HDMI) or provide your files as PDF or in Powerpoint format to the conference laptop in the lecture hall.

Please test (and provide your files) in a coffee break before your talk and be present in the lecture hall a few minutes before the beginning of your respective session. Our team in the lecture hall will assist you with the technical setup.

Please finish your talk in time. There will be two consecutive timers shown for each talk on a presenter display (one for the actual talk time and another for the discussion) to help us keep the schedule.

Posters/Poster Sessions

The Poster Sessions take place in the ReSoWi Zentrum (part C on the ground floor, see here) right next to the library building.

We have three different poster sessions, so please check in the schedule on which day your poster is to be presented.

All posters should be in A0 portrait format. The poster boards are labeled with the poster numbers (P1-P197) and material for mounting posters will be available on tables in the poster session area or the registration desk.

On the day of your poster session you can start to put up your poster from 15:20 onwards and please remove your posters on the next day by 12:00 at the latest.

There will be sandwiches (belegte Brötchen) as well as beer, radler, and nonalcoholic drinks at the poster session.

Lunch

If you have booked lunch, you will find vouchers for the respective restaurant in your name tag. The two restaurant options are located here:

Excursions

If you have booked any excursion for Thursday, you will find a voucher for it in your name tag (please bring the vouchers to the excursion).

Conference Dinner

If you have booked the conference dinner on Thursday, you will find a voucher for it in your name tag (please bring the voucher to the dinner).

The conference dinner takes place in the main building of the university (Aula, first floor) next to the library building.

After STC Event

If you have booked the After STC Event on Friday, you will find a voucher for it in your name tag (please bring the voucher).

We meet on Friday at 14:10 in front of the library building and then walk/hike together to the Buschenschank Wastl Pölzer, which will take about 1 hour 45 minutes. You can find our route here.

If you would prefer not to walk/hike there, we meet at 16:00 at Buschenschank Wastl Pölzer, Wenisbucher Straße 115, 8044 Graz.
